ON SALE Tortoiseshell Cat Art, Anne of Cleves, Henry VIII, Tudor Queen 8x10 Art Print
This is a reproduction print of my original acrylic painting, "Anne of Cleves", the 4th wife of King Henry VIII.
... "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" ... Her marriage to the king was politically arranged, and he found her so ugly, he divorced her quickly and she was wise enough not to protest. She lived thereafter as "his beloved sister".
I think tortoiseshell cats have a unique sort of beauty, and fit the character of Lady Anne well.
This print measures 10"x8" (25.4cm x 20.3cm). I've trimmed it by hand, to fit into any standard 8"x10" picture frame (which is not included).
I print all my work in my home studio ~ using archival Cold Press fine-art paper, and K3 UltraChrome Epson pigment inks. My prints are water-resistant, fade-resistant, and have a beautiful thick textured surface!
She will be signed and dated by me, and packaged inside an acid-free cellophane sleeve, protected by stiff cardboard inside a mailer.
I ship via First Class, within 2 business days after receiving payment.
