Mrs Lovett Cat Art, Pie Shop Bakery 5x7 Archival Print

In 1846, a penny dreadful serial titled, "The String of Pearls", was published in 18 chapters... it told the tale of a murderous barber named Sweeney Todd, and his accomplice, Mrs. Lovett, who baked meat pies using the bodies of his victims.

The story was a huge success, in part because rumors were already rampant in Victorian-era London accusing pie sellers of utilizing cats and dogs in place of higher quality meats. I decided to poke fun at that idea, albeit morbidly, and paint Mrs. Lovett herself as a cat. ;)

This archival reproduction print measures 5"x7" (17.8cm x 12.7cm).

I print all my work in the studio ~ using archival Cold Press fine-art paper & K3 UltraChrome Epson pigment inks. My prints are water-resistant, fade-resistant, and have a beautifully textured surface!

This print will be signed and dated by me, packaged inside an acid-free cellophane sleeve, and shipped in a rigid mailer.

Copyright watermarks will not appear on your print. :)
