Behind the Scenes

Photos of my work and inspiration

Making progress on my new painting, "Angel of Music" (Phantom of the Opera), for the Rabbit Hole Collective's July auction.

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." ~ Sans

Painting another cat's eye onto a wooden plaque.

Painting a cat's eye onto a 4" wooden plaque.

My Beauty... a progress picture from my new portrait, "Beauty and the Beast". :)

Sans stole my chair. He wants to take over my social media accounts, too.... ;)

My booth at the Maryland Faerie Festival, held at Camp Ramblewood in Darlington, MD. This is a really fun show and a good excuse to dress up! :)

I'm working on a custom bookmark order today.

It was a busy day at the post office. :)

My booth at the Carroll County Farmer's Market, in Westminster MD. I've been vending here every summer & holiday season since 2012. :)

I won "Best in Show" at the 2017 Apple Blossom Festival, in Winchester VA... I love vending at this festival; it's so much fun! :)

Tonight, I am printing and assembling bookmarks for my shop and for festivals.

My painting, "Page of Swords", for the 78Tarot:Astral deck ~ which we funded via Kickstarter and published in 2017.

Packaging holiday orders... lots of 2017 Literary Cats Calendars venturing out into the world! :)

I am a member of the Rabbit Hole Artist Collective, a group of 25 international artists who host bi-monthly (themed) art auctions on our Facebook page. Check us out! https://www.facebook.com/pg/TheRabbitHoleArtistCollective/

Dominic and Merlin are ready to start a productive work day.... right guys?

My studio "office" and Epson printers

My studio painting area, where Dominic supervises my progress.

The Epson R2880... my trusty workhorse of a printer. It uses archival pigment inks. :)

Sans, the handsome color-point with ambitions to become my Boss. :P

Papyrus... the shy one who remains behind the scenes.

Merlin, my trusted lap assistant and camera ham. He loves being the center of attention.

Dominic, my familiar and the original model for Mr Darcy Cat. He convinced me to become a cat artist. :)
